Alexander Weber

Alexander Weber studies German and International Law at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. His interests include the topics of migration, security, and the rule of law. He is a graduate of the Akademie Auswärtiger Dienst (Foreign Service Academy). While in the program, he worked in the North Africa Department of the German Foreign Office in Berlin and at the German Embassy in Helsinki. His final thesis examined the interplay of external and internal security in the societies of Norway, Sweden, and Finland. He worked in the Rule of Law Promotion Hub - a cooperation between the German Foreign Office and Freie Universität Berlin. There he supported consultations on Tunisia and researched the financing of German and European projects in support of the rule of law.
