As of June 2023, Anna Hautmann is a Project Manager within the Europe’s Future Programme at Bertelsmann Stiftung. Currently, her work revolves around examining the EU’s critical interdependencies, alongside a broader engagement in analysing economic topics through the application of econometric methods. Before joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Anna worked in academia focusing on policy evaluation at the University of Heidelberg and spent research stays at the Norwegian School of Economics as well as at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research. She studied Economics in Heidelberg, Regensburg, St. Petersburg and Moscow and mainly focused on policy evaluation, with a regional emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe.
