Christian Mölling

Dr. Christian Mölling is Director of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's Europe's Future Program. He was previously Deputy Director of the Research Institute of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and Head of the Center for Security and Defense. Before joining DGAP, he worked at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF), in the Security Policy Research Group of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), at the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich and at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg. He was a Visiting Fellow at the European Union Institute for Security Studies in Paris, at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London and at the Fondation pour la recherche stratégique in Paris. Christian studied political science, economics and history at the Universities of Duisburg and Warwick and completed his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
