Dr. Agnieszka Łada-Konefał

Dr. Agnieszka Łada-Konefał is a political scientist and vice director of the Deutsches Polen-Institut (German Institute of Polish Affairs) in Darmstadt, where she was until 2019 director of the European Programme and senior analyst. Agniezska graduated from Hertie School of Governance in Berlin with a master’s in public administration. She served as a visiting fellow at the European Policy Centre in 2011, a research fellow at Sussex University in 2012, a visiting scholar at the German Council on Foreign Relations in 2013, and as a research fellow at the Stiftung Wisenschaft und Politik from 2016 to 2017. She is a member of various groups of experts on Polish-German relations. She specializes in the following issues: Polish-German relations and Germany, Polish foreign and European policy and the perception of Poles abroad and other nations in Poland.
