Lucas Guttenberg has been a senior advisor in the programme Europe’s Future since September 2024. He is in charge of the programme’s work on European economic policy. Prior to joining us, he served as an advisor to the German vice-chancellor and minister for economic affairs and climate action and as deputy director of Jacques Delors Centre in Berlin. He began his career as an economist at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and Washington, DC.
