Sophia Hiss

Sophia Hiss is currently pursuing a Master of International Affairs at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, with a focus on Human Rights, migration and the politics of MENA-region. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern/Islamic Studies and Social Anthropology from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, during which she spent a year at Université de Tunis El Manar, studying International Relations and Social Anthropology. Sophia has previously worked with Deutsche Welle Akademie on media development projects in Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania.
