William Meignan joined the Bertelsmann Stiftung as an intern for the Global Economic Dynamics Team in September 2017. Within the project, his research focuses on current economic policy issues in Europe as well as in the developing countries. Besides macroeconomics and political economy, his main research interests include international development and migration issues with a strong emphasis on quantitative methods. William holds an engineering degree as statistician-economist from ENSAE Paris and a Master of Science in Economic at Humboldt University. Prior to joining the Bertelsmann Foundation, he has worked as data analyst consultant and interned at the Banque de France and at the Center for Human Sciences and Humanities in New Delhi.
