In the midst of negotiations between the administration of Colombian President Santos and FARC, GED’s Samuel George sat down with opposition Senator Ivan Duque to discuss his ideas on producing a credible and sustainable peace.

“I disagree with the idea that Colombia has a civil war,” Duque noted “This is not brother against brother. What we have is a criminal organization that has been producing damage to all of the civilians in the country.”
