Brandon Bohrn is a member of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's Europe Program, where he focuses on U.S. security and defense policy, U.S. domestic politics, NATO, and transatlantic relations. Before joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Brandon worked as a member of the transatlantic team at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Washington, D.C., co-authoring Transatlantic Trends for three years.
As a Fulbright and DAAD scholar, Brandon has worked and studied on both sides of the Atlantic. He gained work experience with the foreign and defense policy staff of a U.S. Senator, as well as in the political-military units of the U.S. Consulate General Düsseldorf and the U.S. Embassy Berlin. Brandon completed the TransAtlantic Masters Program (TAM) in political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He is also a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
